A journey to the depths of After Effects

It's been a while since I updated, so I thought I'd chime in with some progress. I'm currently mashing together an early draft of "the lake venture" in AE and it's starting to look like something already:

Since I'm just starting out it's probably going to look somewhat different in the final result when I've had the time to play around with color adjustments and the environments. Right now I'll have to keep my main focus the animation.

The next weeks will be very exciting. I'm already in the possession of some pretty bomb voice acting, and the music is coming along nicely. I'll reveal more of this at a later point, but for now you can enjoy Nathan the lakeprince's personal soundtrack of the day (by Primus. Thanks Primus!):
